According to a recent BBC article by Michael Fitzpatrick titled “Mobile That Allows Bosses to Snoop on Staff Developed”, researchers have developed a mobile phone and backend software that allows the monitoring of employees [well, at this point, it is hard to tell if they are employees or machines] to make sure they are functioning, wait… performing the correct operations, no wait that is wrong too. Nevermind, basically, the company named KDDI Corporation has developed software that can detect the actions of the owner of the mobile phone. The software can discern if they are walking, running, climbing stairs, or apparently if they are cleaning vigorously enough to be deemed necessary by the overlord doing the monitoring.
